I watched the Flatliners gig at Annie's Social Club last night. The band was really good, as was their support. I even saw minor celebrity Floyd from Fat Wreck Chords -- cool huh?

The FlatlinersI feel that I'm settling in here at Berkeley. After a chat with Kris Pister on Tuesday, some new opportunities came to light and while I intend to continue reading papers, looking at the cool kit that's been developed here, meeting with researchers etc., I'm hopeful that I will also have the opportunity to do some practical work in preparation for instrumenting the River Eden with a 'smart dust' deployment. This could be of significant value to Lancaster and particularly Environmental Science.

Ah snowboarding... soon kev, soon. I intend to hit the slopes over Christmas.
And that's what I like to see... some comments again. I replaced my lost camera and I'm planning to get out around teh bay and do a big photo post over the weekend.
